Author Guidelines
The Journal of Forensic Science and Research (JFSR) welcomes submissions from researchers, practitioners, and academicians worldwide. To ensure a smooth submission, review, and publication process, authors are required to carefully follow these Author Guidelines.

Submission Requirements
Authors should submit manuscripts electronically via the OJS submission system. Each submission must include:
- Cover letter outlining the significance of the research.
- Manuscript formatted according to JFSR style.
- Authorship declaration and conflict of interest statement.
- Ethics approval documentation, where applicable.
Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should follow this structure:
- Title Page: Title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author details.
- Abstract: 250–300 words, structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion).
- Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords.
- Main Text: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
- Acknowledgments: Funding and contributions.
- References: NLM (Vancouver) style.
Formatting Guidelines
- Use 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced text.
- Number pages consecutively.
- Figures and tables must be cited in the text and included at the end of the manuscript.
- Supplementary files should be submitted separately.
Figures and Tables
All figures must be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi). Tables should be concise and self-explanatory. Captions must be provided for all figures and tables.
Referencing Style
JFSR follows the Vancouver style for references. References should be numbered consecutively in the order cited in the text and listed at the end of the manuscript.
Ethical Standards
Manuscripts must comply with ethical standards for research involving human participants and animals. Ethical approval numbers and informed consent statements must be included where relevant.
Conflict of Interest
Authors must declare any financial or personal relationships that could influence their research. These declarations will be published with the article.
Plagiarism Policy
All submissions undergo plagiarism checks. Manuscripts with high similarity scores may be rejected or returned for revision.
